Nancy Orr-Rainey, Executive Director
From the time she was a teenager working as a nursing assistant, Nancy has committed her entire career to older adults and their families. She is a licensed registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in gerontology from the University of Southern California. Her direct care and management experience is diverse across many healthcare settings. She is also a published author and researcher on the topic of Alzheimer’s disease.
Becky Goin, Director Of Resident Services
Becky was born and raised right here in Louisville in the small suburb of Fairdale. Becky obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Spalding University in 1992 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 1993 and has worked with older adults since that time. Memory care is her passion and where her heart lies. She is so happy to have found her new home here at Magnolia Springs East.
Her goals for the Memory Care Unit are working and collaborating with all staff and families of her residents to elevate the programs. She has a vision of a heightened level of activities in which to engage residents, creating an environment that fosters well-intentioned stimulation, yet offering a comfortable setting for all!
Christina Hynes, Business Office Manager
Christina moved into the position of Business Office Manager for Magnolia Springs East in October 2014. However, she has been a member of the Magnolia Springs and Grandview Care, Inc. team for over 10 years. She previously worked at the corporate office in various accounting oriented roles.
Robert LeFever III, Director of Culinary Services
Chef Bob has over 38 years of culinary experience. In addition to his years serving our country, he was the Executive Chef at The Pendennis Club in Louisville, Kentucky for 14 years. He has also held previous positions as a Corporate Trainer for Morrison’s Cafeteria, Kitchen Manager at St. Matthews Manor Nursing Home and Chef at Kuntz’s Fine Dining, the flagship restaurant at The Galt House Hotel in Louisville.
Amy Webb, Director Of Life Enrichment
Amy joined the Magnolia Springs East family as Director of Life Enrichment in November of 2017 after serving a year as a Life Enrichment Coordinator. She is a former hairdresser who loves serving people and brings 33 years of highly creative skills to our Activities Department.
Amy fell in love with Magnolia Spring East while her father was a resident here. Feeling the need to move in a different direction and discovering an open position sealed her fate. “I am excited to be a part of the family that has been so wonderful to mine.”
Alex Gamboa, Director Of Memory Way
Alex Gamboa was raised in Philadelphia, PA but returned to her native Louisville, KY in 2001. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and earned a degree in Interior Design at Louisville Technical Institute.
It wasn’t until she accepted a receptionist position in a skilled nursing facility that she found her true passion, caring for seniors. She gradually worked her way up through various social services positions until she became the director of social services.
Alex has over eight years of experience caring for seniors and offers a passionate and caring personality.
Chad Howlet, Director of Plant Operations
Chad Howlett, the new Director of Plant operations, joined the Magnolia Springs East team in May of 2018. He has 21 years of multi residential property management experience. Chad loves the Lord, and desires to serve him by serving others. In August, Chad will be married to his wife (Julie) for 20 years. Together they have a daughter (Whitley) and a son (Chase).
Chad grew up in a military family where his father served in the Army for 20 years. He was born in Fort Hood, Texas, however, has lived in Chicago, Washington D.C. and Germany. His family settled in Louisville in 1993. In his free time Chad enjoys spending time with his family biking and gardening.
